A stroller is an essential part of any visit, whether for parents or children!
Although you are allowed to bring your own pushchairs, Disneyland Paris also offers stroller hire. Ideal if you’re coming by train or plane.
These pushchairs are fairly wide and fitted with seatbelts. They are suitable for children who must be seated. We recommend them from 18 months (they are still wide even at this age). For babies, you’ll need to bring your own stroller.
If you wish to bring a small trolley to transport your children, this is permitted: they must not exceed the size of 92cm X 132cm. These are not available for hire in the Disney parks, nor are double pushchairs.
You can hire pushchairs at both parks: Disneyland Park (at Town Square Terrace) and Walt Disney Studios (at Studios Services). These two locations are after the entrance to both parks. To make it easier for you to find your way around, these locations are marked with a red dot.
At the counter, you’ll be asked to fill in a sheet with your child’s name, which will be slipped into a dedicated pocket at the back of the stroller. It’s a handy way of finding yourself in the middle of all the others.
The price is 25 euros per day. A deposit of 70 euros is required. Both the rental charge and the deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card. The deposit will be returned by the same method of payment used to pay it: if you pay by credit card, it will be re-credited. Be sure to keep the ticket so that you can collect it when you return the stroller.
You will find flaneuse hire at the same place at the same price.
🛎It is possible to take the pushchair with you to a Disney hotel. You will be asked to pay for the hire for the duration of use. There is no hire directly at the hotel, you will have to go to the parks.
If you are bringing your own pushchair and are worried about theft, I recommend that you take an anti-theft device with you. Please note that it is forbidden to hang your pushchair from the decorations or fences in the Disney parks. The trick is to attach the anti-theft device to two wheels on your stroller.
For the little ones who can’t sit up yet, you can go into the restaurants with your stroller. For older children, you’ll need to leave your carriage outside the restaurant. At the attractions, you should always leave your stroller outside, whatever the age of your child. There are small “parking areas” for pushchairs. We’ll locate them in a future article.
