😍 First of all very good news, and I hope not to have to update this article soon: hugs are again allowed with the characters at Disneyland Paris. Yes, with the global pandemic this was no longer the case for many months.
🤩 To meet a character, there is usually a queue to do : the families each pass in turn. Ideal for spending a privileged moment and returning home with a superb family picture. So be careful to guard your little wolves who can quickly get excited at the idea of running into the arms of the one who is perhaps their favorite cuddly toy!
👨👩👦👦If the characters will love cuddling the older ones, the babies will have to stay in mom and dad’s arms in order to enjoy the meeting: indeed for security reasons, Disney characters cannot take your children in their arms .
📸 Even if a Disney photographer is present, you can shoot with your own camera without worries to keep images in memory of this great moment. Disney employees present can also take a picture of the whole family (as long as sanitary conditions allow it).
👶 Watch out for the round noses of Mickey, Minnie or Pluto for example: babies really want to swallow them!
✳️ If you stay in a Disney hotel, don’t hesitate to take advantage of the extra moments of magic (open parks for hotel residents and certain types of annual pass) where several characters are present. There will be really fewer people than during the day, just as there will certainly be a meet with a Disney character in your hotel. The timetables are generally indicated near the reception.
✳️Some restaurants also welcome characters 🙂 No line, a meal and great memories! Currently this concerns breakfast and dinner at the Plaza Garden, and the Auberge de Cendrillon.
